The Bobcat 331 is a tracked mini excavator that made its debut on the construction machinery market in the early 1990s. The drive is provided by a single 4-cylinder engine V-2203-M-DI-E2B with a power of 40 HP. The length of the vehicle with the bucket pulled out is approximately 5.6 meters. On the other hand, the height of the excavator, measured from the ground to the top of the operator's cabin, is approximately 2.69 meters. The Bobcat Company is an American construction and agricultural equipment company that was founded in 1947 with its US headquarters in West Fargo, North Dakota. Currently, the Bobcat Company belongs to the South Korean Doosan group. In the early 1990s, this company launched the Bobcat 331 mini excavator, which was quite successful - mainly in the USA, but not only. This mini excavator was characterized by very high reliability and quality of workmanship, it was also powered by an efficient and - in the early 1990s - economical engine. Another feature was its small size allowing for work in a small space and in places difficult to reach for heavier equipment. It is worth adding that currently used mini-excavators of this type reach a price of PLN 37-50 thousand. PLN gross. Incidentally, it can also be mentioned that the Bobcat Company replaced the 331 with the E32.
