The sixth volume of Polish Aviation Constructions presents the contribution of Poles to the development of aviation technology in the years 1955–1970. The next seventh volume describes our achievements in the field of airplanes, helicopters and gliders in the years 1971–2020. This period includes the development of aviation technology in the seventies, after an attempt to limit it in the late sixties. The years 1971–1990 were the years of the domination of license production for the needs of the Soviet Union, but also the period of the creation of a number of domestic airplanes and gliders produced in series and exported to many countries. The next stage is the crisis in the early nineties, the transformation and acquisition of the plant by foreign companies and the development of ultralight aircraft production.
This volume contains information about airplanes, helicopters and gliders and powered sailplanes, and among ultra-light airplanes, mainly mass-produced structures were shown. However, powered hang-gliders, hang-gliders and unmanned ships were not described.
